TTD Eo Supervises Crowd Movement at Srivari Temple

Tirumala,29 December,2017 :TTD executive officer, Sri Anil Kumar Singhal said that the devotees were given satisfactory and comfortable darshan on Vaikunta Ekadasi .

Speaking to reporters outside the Srivari Temple Sri Singhal said that Sarva darshan for  common devotees commenced from 8.05 hours this morning and the devotees had pateintly waited for  30 hours in the q lines since yesterday in the VQC compartments , outside queuelines etc.

He said TTD had made elbaorate arrangements to provide them coffee ,tea, anna prasadams and drinking water inside the queue lines .Special bhajan programs were also organised by the HDPP to whip up the devotional quotient among the devotees waiting in the queuelines .Similarly FM Radio and Broadacasting services were deployed to give information on accomodation ,darshan hours to devotees frequently .Mobile toilets were also pressed into service to meet the challenges of nature .

He said additional dispensaries were set up to provie first aid and emergecy medicare to devotees with a 70 member para medical staff.Nearly 3500 Srivari Sevakas served the devotees  all over Tirumala and Tirupati. 'Devotees were happy with all services provided by the TTD' the EO said after interaction with devotees within the temple and also outside in the queue lines.

The electrical lighting, scented flower decorations from Mahadwaram to Dwajasthambham captivated the devotees with Vaikuntam experience. 

CHAKRASNANAM ON DECEMBER 30 VAIKUNTA DWADASI 

On the ocassion of the Vaikuna Dwadasi on December 30 ,theTTD plans to perfom the Chakrasnanam for the Sri Sudarshan Chakrathalwar in the early hours of  4.30 -5.30 AM .Legends say that devotees who take part in Chakrasnanam at the alloted muhurtam would beget 66 crores worth holy bating in the holy thirthams .

The TTD has cancelled all the  Arjia sevas on Vaikuna Dwadasi day as well .
