Aim for the top spot – Governor tells City Police

Hyderabad, January 11:       Governor Narasimhan accompanied by Smt. Vimala Narasimhan, visited the Punjagutta Model Police Station in the city on Thursday. Governor complimented the City police for being adjudged as the Second Best Police Station in the country, in a survey conducted by the Quality Council of India and the Ministry of Home Affairs. Speaking to the police officers at the Punjagutta Police Station, the Governor said that they should aim to achieve the top rank by improving quality of policing and providing people-friendly services.

DGP M. Mahender Reddy, Hyderabad Police Commissioner, VV Srinivasa Rao and other senior officers received the Governor and the Lady Governor at the Punjagutta Police Station and explained how services are provided at the Police Station with the help of latest technology.
