Tirumala, 23 January 2018: TTD Executive Officer, Anil Kumar Singhal today said that all arrangements were made for anticipated devotee crowds of over 1.5 lakhs on the Rathasapthami day tomorrow.
Speaking to reporters after an inspection of the mada streets along with Tirumala JEO Sri KS Sreenivasa Raju and other senior officials he said.
He said he reviewed the arrangements in which eight lakh water packets, 3 lakh buttermilk packets were kept ready and along with snacks and food packets for service of devotees waiting in queue lines.
He said nine big screens were set up on mada streets, and 120 more toilets in addition to 600 already in position and 700 sanitary workers have been deployed for service on Rathasaptami day.
The EO said the additional medical staff has been deployed for service on that day and in all 400 TTD officials will be positioned at all sectors to ensure quick darshan, and also provision of water, snacks and food packets on a war footing to devotees who have already commenced queuing up since afternoon for tomorrows darshan.
The He appealed all devotees to patiently beget Darshan and darshan of Lord Venkateswara on various vahana seas and also partake prasadam and other services specially geared for their benefit during the sacred festival of Rathasapthami.
