Science is about questioning – Governor Narasimhan tells school children


















·         Governor attends in the Valedictory session of the Southern India Science Fair 2018 as Chief Guest

Hyderabad, January 12:               Governor E.S.L. Narasimhan participate in the valedictory session of the Southern India Science Fair 2018 held at St. Patrick’s School at Secunderabad today. He went round the science exhibits displayed at the Fair and evinced keen interest in knowing the usefulness of each of the exhibits. He complimented the students for their innovative experimentally designed products and encouraged them to continue their innovations and put them to use in the real life situation. 
Later speaking at the Valedictory session of the Science Fair, Governor Narasimhan said that what he witnessed at the Science Fair was the future of India. Governor spoke in Tamil briefly for the benefit of students attending the Science Fair from Tamilnadu and Puduchery.  Governor said that he felt proud of all the children after seeing the exhibits at the Science Fair. He said students exhibited models with wonderful and magnificent ideas.  Governor said science is the art of queries and children should always raise questions. He further said that science is about training the mind to raise questions and find out newer varieties of life saving things. He said that invention comes out of necessity it does not come automatically. If there is a need you will see how to come out of the problem and that is how scientific inventions come, said the Governor. He said that when he went round the exhibition the children explained to him why they started their project models.  Governor said that he was proud of the children and requested them to keep their inquisitive mind going and try and do a pilot project in your own area.

Dy. Chief Minister, Kadiyam Srihari and Home Minister Nayani Narasimha Reddy also attended the valedictory session of the Southern Indian Science Fair.
