Telangana state and KEF holdings to join
hands and set up a one of its kind Construction & Building Materials
Manufacturing Park in Telangana.
At a joint press meet in Hyderabad, IT
& Industries Minister KT Rama Rao announced that Telangana Government will
set up the Construction & Building Material Manufacturing Park in
partnership with KEF Holdings. The proposed park is expected to generate
employment to about 10,000 people.
KEF Holdings & KEF Infra will set up an
offsite manufacturing mother plant in Telangana with an investment of 600
Crores, in the proposed Industrial Park.
At the announcement ceremony, Minister Rama
Rao said, “This Construction & Building Material Manufacturing Park is the
first of its kind in India. We are exploring four locations around Hyderabad
for setting up the Construction & Building Material Manufacturing Park,
which will come up in about 250 acres. Telangana government will provide the
required land, infrastructure and also train local youth for employment in the
proposed park.
The ancillary industries is expected to
create direct and indirect employment opportunities in the state.
Appreciating the industrial sector of the
state, Faizal E Kottikollon, Founder & Chairman of KEF Holdings & KEF
Infra said, “Telangana is the first state where we are having a joint venture.
Though we were invited by the other Indian states, we preferred Telangana after
exploring it's opportunities and geographical advantages.”

public canteens and 20 kitchens as part of the Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara
Palike’s Indira Canteens Project, in Karnataka.
