National SC Commission Heaps Praise on TSWREIS






The National Commission for SCs led by L. Murugan, Vice-Chairman, visited TSWR School Gowlidoddi today and observed classroom activities, student amenities and infrastructural facilities. The team members praised the efforts of the government of Telangana in providing quality education to marginalized children under the KG-PG Mission. “We had an immensely enriching experience and the scintillating success stories of students in academics, mountaineering, English communication and leadership are truly exceptional, while considering their poor socio-economic background”, the commission members remarked. The members lauded the government of Telangana for launching residential schools in a big way to provide quality education to poor children on par with the best corporate schools in the country”, said L. Murugan, Vice-Chairman of the Commission.
The Commission members impressed with the path-breaking student empowerment programmes such as E-Plus Clubs, Computer labs, Voice for Girls, Super Students, Green Gurus, Teaching Assistants, Operation Blue Crystal and Mirror Project being introduced by the TSWREIS. The commission members praised the government for helping medical aspirants through launching free long term medical coaching (OPBC). The Telangana model of education is the best in the country and the every state in the country must learn from this model to reach out to every poor child.  The members appreciated the Secretary, Scheduled Caste Development Department Jyothy Buddha Prakash and Dr RS Praveen Kumar, Secretary, TSWREIS, for their efforts in guiding and helping the students to meet the challenges of the 21st century.

 Speaking to the media persons, Dr Praveen Kumar said, we are delighted that the National Commission members chose to visit our school. He thanked the Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao and the Minister for Scheduled Caste Development Department for launching welfare residential  schools in a big, with an estimated budget Rs 1500 crore in the coming years.
