Shobhayatra of Lakshmi Haram

Tirupati, 10 February 2018: The shobha yatra of Lakshmi Kasula Haram took place from TTD administrative building to Srinivasa Mangapuram temple on Saturday.

As a normal practice the precious jewel from Tirumala will be adorned to Kalyana Venkanna on Garuda Seva day every year.

Tirumala JEO KS Sreenivasa Raju speaking on this occasion said, this year Two Kadiyams( bracelets) Two Bhujakeertis(shoulder ornaments) and a mukhapatti (another ornament) weighing around 3.180kilos of gold costing around Rs.90 lakhs has been presented to Kalyana venkateswara swamy on this auspicious occasion from Tirumala which will be used to deck the presiding deity at different occasions", he added.

Tirumala temple DyEO Harindranath, Srinivasa Mangapuram temple DyEO Venkataiah, AEO Srinivasulu and others were also present.
