Tirupati 7 February 2018: As part of the Brahmotsavam of Sri Kapileswara Swamy Temple, Lord rode on Suryaprabha Vahanam on Wednesday. The vahanam went around Kapilatheertha road, Anna Rao circle, Vinayaka Nagar L type quarters, Hare Rama Hare Krishna temple, NGO colony, Alipiri bypass blessing devotees who worshipped with camphor harati, chakka bhajans and drums all along.
After Snapana tirumanjanam, abhishekham of Soma skanda murthi, Sri Kamakshi Devi was also performed with honey, curd, milk, fruit juices, and sandal paste.
CHANDRA PRABHA VAHANAM AT NIGHT
As part of the Brahmotsavam Chandraprabha vahanam will be conducted at night where Shiva in different avatar will bless the devotees.
CULTURAL PROGRAMS
The chakka bhajans, Kolata, Venkanna Godagu were performed by teams of Srimati Rajeswari, Smt K Saraswati, Smt M Bharati, Sri B Muniraju and Sri K Pachappa from Tirupati.
Among others DyEO Sri Subramanyam, AEO Sri Sankar Raju, Chief priest Sri Maniswamu, AVSo Sri Gangaraju, Supt Sri Raj Kumar, Temple inspector Sri Narayana and Sri C Muralikrishna participated in the event.
