Trishula Snanam at Sri Kapileswara Swamy Temple

Tirupati, 15 February 2018: The grand conduction of Trishula Snanam marked the completion of the celestial Brahmotsavam at Sri Kapileswara Swamy Temple.

Earlier the ustava idol of Sri Nataraja Swamy rode on Surya Prabha Vahanam up to Anna Rao circle to the accompaniment of drums, bhakti music and camphor haratis by the devotees. The temple priests performed Snapana Thirumanjanam to the utsava deities and later Purnahuti, Kalasodhwasanam, and Kalashabhisekam to the Mural virat.

The Dwaja Avarohanm event in the evening will mark the conclusion of the annual brahmotsavam of Sri Kapileswara swamy.

The Lord Kapila will ride on Ravana Vahanam at night marking the special rituals and prayers to the Lord of rakshashas who was also a staunch devotee of Shiva.
