TTD Observes Maha Sivaratri with Relogious Fervour in Kapila Teertham

 Tirupati, 13 February 2018: The temple city of Tirupati echoed to the rhythmic chants of "Hara Hara Mahadeva Sambho Shankara" on Tuesday.

TTD made elaborate security arrangements to man the heavy influx of devotees in the famous temple of Kapileswara Swamy in Tirupati.

Special cultural programmes have been organised by TTD in connection with the auspicious occasion.

RUDRABHISHEKAM PERFORMED

The hectic day started with the temple opening doors for darshan at 2.30am on Tuesday. Mahanyasapurvaka Ekadasa Rudrabhishekam was performed on the occasion. Serpentine lines were order of the day as devotees lined up for 

darshan.

NANDIVAHANA SEVA

On Tuesday evening Nandi Vahana Seva was performed between 6pm and 10pm.

LINGODBHAVA DARSHAN

On the other hand Lingodbhava Abhishekam will be observed in 00:00hrs of February 14 till 4am in the temple.
