Tirupati, 16 March 2018: The annual brahmotsavams in Sri Kodanda Rama Swamy temple in Tirupati off to a ceremonious start qith Dhwajarohanam on Friday.
The event took place in the auspicious Mesha Lagnam between 8:30am and 9am when the Garuda dhwaja patam was hoisted on temple pillar mast marking the commencement of Navahnika brahmotsavams.
Speaking on the occasion, TTD EO Sri Anil Kumar Singhal told media persons that elaborate arrangements of security and engineering were made for the big fete. " About Rs.38lakhs worth renovation works were carried out by the engineering wing. Every day there will be vahana sevas between 8am and 10am again 8pm and 10pm during brahmotsavams. The important days includes Garuda Seva on March 20, Hanumantha Vahanam on March 21, Rathotsavam on March 23 and Chakrasnanam.on March 24 with which the annual fest concludes", he added.
CV and SO Sri A Ravikrishna, DyEO Smt Jhansi, Suptd Sri Munikrishna Reddy, Temple Inspector Sri Sesha Reddy and other temple staffs, large number of devotees were also present.
