Annamaiah Propagated the Essence of Vedas in the form of Sankeertans

Tirupati, 30 April 2018: Saint poet Sri Tallapaka Annamacharya propagated the essence of vedas in the form of Sankeertans and educated the masses, said co-ordinator of Tarigonda Vengamamba Project Dr KJ Krishnamurthy.

The literary sessions in connection with the 610th Birth Anniversary celebrations of Annamacharya commenced in Annamacharya Kalamandiram at Tirupati on Monday. Speaking on this occasion, Dr Krishnamurthy said Annamacharya has command on spiritual wisdom and the same was depicted in the sankeertans penned by him.

Scholars, Sri Venkatachalapathi,Dr B Sriramulu from Tirupati, also spoke on this occasion while, Sri K Neehal from Chennai presented devotional musical concert and Sri Vaishnavi Nrityalaya artistes from Machilipatnam performed dance ballet.

On the other hand in Mahati Auditorium, Smt Nitya Santhoshini from Chennai presented devotional songs penned by Sri Annamacharya.
