Speaking in the literary meet arranged at Annamacharya Kalamandiram on the occasion of 610th Birth Anniversary of the Saint Poete in Tirupati on Tuesday, he said the Sankeertans of Annamacharya portrayed the socio-economic-religious conditions prevailed in those days.

Other scholars also spoke on the occasion followed by cultural programmes.
