Under the able leadership of our Hon’ble Chief Minister Sri K. Chandra Shekar Rao Garu Telangana is achieving remarkable developments and proceeding towards the goal of achieving Bangaru Telangana.
TSFDC which is a wholly owned Govt. of Telangana enterprise is contributing its might in achieving the goal of Bangaru Telangana under the able & efficient leader ship of Sri Banda Narender Reddy garu, Hon’ble Chairman and Sri Chandan Mitra IFS., its Vice Chairman & Managing Director, congenial environment is created and targeted growth is made possible.
Following are the achievements made by TSFDC during the year 2017-18.
1) Achieved all time highest productivity in harvesting of Euc. Clonal plantation. The per Ha yield has gone up from 44.92 MT in 2012-13 to 87 MT for the sales conducted in 2017-18. During last year harvested and supplied a quantity of (3) lakh MT pulpwood. This is no mean achievement since this figure was not achieved even in the combined state of AP.
2) Achieved a revenue target of 906 lakhs during last year by sale of Long Bamboo. The average price of long bamboo has increased from Rs. 28.14 each in the year 2012-13 to Rs. 42.80 each in 2017-18. The revenue from sale of Bamboo in 2016-17 was Rs. 1263 lakhs
3) During the year Pala Pitta cycling Park was created and made operational in Bird Park area which was once used to be dumping ground. In the area planting was done with 7500 plants comprising 40 varieties of Forest plants. The 2.9 Kms cycle track formed in the serene atmosphere is providing a pollution free recreation and wellness center for the residents of surrounding area. This is generating interest for cycling sport which is a non polluting and healthy sport.

This dedicated cycling corridor has received wide accomplishments from netizens with a highest Google rating of 4.7 out of 5.
4) During the year Botanical Garden was developed by creating various amenities. New facilities like Yoga hall, Cafeteria cum restaurant, Gajebo, Log hut, Tent hut, Tree Cottage, Interpretation Center addition of play items in children play area, Corporate adventure games, Ticket Counter, Souvenir shop and skating rink etc., have been added. The walker path of 3.0 km has been laid with new gravel. Addition of landscaping and flower garden areas has been done. Due to the result the Foot fall to garden has increased remarkably and the Google rating for garden has gone up from 3 to 4. In the Facebook the rating for Botanical Garden is 4.3.
5) In the jungle area of state (2) Eco-Tourism projects are being taken up.
a) For new Eco-Tourism project at Chintaguda (v) Mancherial (D) in the vicinity of Kawal Tiger Reserve an area of 6.00 Ac land has been acquired near the Godhavari river and tender has been called for best Architectural proposals for the development of project and facility.
b) Another project proposed is on the back water of Nagarjuna Sagar at Vizag colony in Nalgonda. 15.00 Acres of land is in advance stages of acquiring. Preparation of DPR is in progress.
6) Proposal for setting up Bamboo Lumber Industry with an investment of 22.4 crores is in the process. Earlier paper mills used to purchase Bamboo industrial cuts for paper making. Presently due to change of technology this material is not in demand. With the establishment of industry the Bamboo Industrial cuts material available in TSFDC plantations which was hither to not fully utilized will be utilized but also it will argument the income of the farmers.
7) As part of the providing better working condition & increased mobility all the field staff of APM and DPM cadre are provided with (2) wheeler motor vehicles.

8) As part of the welfare measures all the existing (77) employees are proposed for LIC pension facility in the ratio of 70:30 by the employer, employee respectively. Sanction of this scheme by Govt. of Telangana recently has given greater satisfaction to the employees. This is very rare of its kind gesture implemented by very few organizations in the Govt. sector and TSFDC Ltd boasts to be one among them to take best care of its employee not only in service but also after retirement. This improves greater dedication towards the organization by the serving employees.
