Latest Technology for Electrical Wiring at Tirumala - TTD Eo

 Tirupati, 4 June 2018: The TTD EO Anil Kumar Singhal had directed official to utilize high quality and latest technology for laying electrical wiring in the hill shrine in order to provide a harmless and safe environment for lakhs of devotees that throng the hill shrine of Tirumala.

Addressing the Senior TTD Officers during review meeting in TTD Adm Building, the EO directed the SE-Sri Venkateswarlu that experts in electrical wiring and installations should be invited and asked to inspect all the key areas like - Srivari Temple, Rest houses, PACs, major road junctions etc. and submit a report.

He said all precautionary steps should be taken to protect the waiting sheds in Narayanagiri Gardens and other areas on Tirumala in view of rainy season and heavy winds hitting the hill shrine in the coming months. Steps should also be taken to arrest lighting and its damages, he instructed the engineering department officials.

The EO said all the big holes done at the steps of the Swami Pushkarini should be covered immediately to avoid inconvenience to devotees and the steps be cleaned without compromise on cleanliness all over Tirumala. He advised that the metal arches set up at four mada streets on which electrical and other systems were installed should be checked frequently for strength and stability.

The EO directed the IT officials to speed up the arrangements for installing IRIS technology at the Time slot sarva darshan counters. The installation of DFMDS equipment for rolling out network of scanners, CC TV cameras, head count machines should be completed in the month of June itself, he directed the in charge CVSO Sivakumar Reddy. By august there should be 100 % and fool proof LED lighting in operation at Tirumala, he told the concerned officials.

He also asked the Tirupati JEO Pola Bhaskar to complete the development works underway at Friday Gardens and Thollappa gardens connected to the Sri Padmavati Ammavari Temple, Trichanoor. The parking issue at the Sri Govindaraja Swamy Temple in Tirupati also should be resolve in consultation and coordination with concerned officials at the earliest, he told the JEO-Tirupati.

The EO said hand bills should be printed and distributed to devotees who opt for time slotted dashing tokens about the religious temples and places at Bugga, Narayanavanam, and Nagalapuram, Karveti nagaram, Appalayagunta and other local temples within Tirumala and Tirupati and encourage them to visit these locations.
