Lord Prasanna Venkanna Rides on Hanumanth Vahanam

Apalayagunta. 28 June 2018: On the Sixth day of ongoing Brahmotsavam at TTDs Sri Prasanna Venkateswara Swamy Temple in Appalayagunta near Tirupati, the processional deity of Lord Prasanna Venkateswara Swamy is taken out in procession around four mada streets atop Hanumantha Vahanam on Thursday morning.

As done ardent devotee who carried Sri Rama on his shoulders, Hanumans association with Lord Venkateswara, an incarnation of Lord Rama is nothing unusual. It is said that Lord Sri Rama had taught the secrets of Atma Tatva to his most loyal  disciple, Hanuman. The Sita Ramanjaneya Samvadam is the basic theme of a Telugu poetry of yester years.
