Flag Festival Observed at TTD

Tirumala, 15 August 2018: Tirumala JEO KS Sreenivasa Raju hoisted the National Flag on the occasion of Independence Day in Gokulam Rest House premises on Wednesday.

In his I Day address, the JEO said, discharging the duties with responsibility and dedication is the real tribute which we can pay to our National leaders.

"The time slot darshan introduced by TTD id a Revolution reform measure to tackle the day by day increasing pilgrim rush", he added.

He said the unique feature of this Independence Day is that it coincided with Astabandhana Balalaya Maha Samprokshanam religious fete. I thank Lord Venkateswara for providing me an opportunity to take part in Astabandhanam and my eighth I Day fete in TTD", he maintained.
