Best Possible Transport and IT Services During Brahmotsavams


Tirumala, 19 September 2018: TTD strived and successfully provided quality Transport services to devotees participating in the annual Brahmotsavam from all over country, said TTD General Manager of Transport Sri Sesha Reddy.

Addressing reporters at the Media centre got up to disseminate Brahmotsavam activities at the Rambagicha-2 Rest House, SReddy said besides running free bus services at Tirumala and Tirupati the TTD Transport also organised vehicles for efficient dispensation of medicare and Anna prasadams at Tirumala. TTD also deployed cranes and auto-clinics at the ghat roads to facilitate devotees on private vehicles and also RTC buses to tackle accidents and breakdowns. 

On the crucial Garuda seva day on September 17, auto clinics were stationed at eight locations on both updown ghat roads, he said. Adding that 14 dharmarathams- free buses operated over 400 trips during Brahmotsavams at a frequency of 5 minutes at Tirumala. Free buses were also operated every 5minutes from Tirupati bus stand to Srinivasa Mangapuram to facilitate devotees to use Srivari Mettu foot route to Tirumala.

DEVOTEE FRIENDLY IT SERVICES

PV Sesha Reddy said by deploying IT services extensively, devotees from far off places were facilitated with Srivari Darshan, Arjita sevas and laddu prasadam etc.

He said on directions of the EO


Anil Kumar Singhal IT was introduced in all wings of TTD and had resulted in more transparency in allotment of Rs.300 special darshan tickets, Srivari Arjita sevas, accommodation and laddu prasadam.

Digital services were provided at media centre, common command control centre, police bandobust, traffic management, crowd management, laddu token issue at the Vaikuntam queue complex. 

IT services were utilized to issue duty and ID passes to all those involved in Brahmotsavam duties. News and photo cum vidoes were also up-loaded on the TTD website for benefit of devotees with the advanced Internet network system, he said.
