Tirumala, 07 September 2018: The 126th convocation ceremony of Dharmagiri Veda Vignanam Peetham was held in Tirumala on Friday.
Speaking on this occasion the Principal Sri KSS Avadhani said, started in 1884, today there are about 575 students with 50 faculty in 17 Veda and Agama departments in the institute.
He said many students who under went education in Dharmagiri have now settled as priests in temples with in the country and even overseas.
He said this year 78 students passed out masters degrees and later felicitated them with 10gram silver dollar and certificate of merit.
