Teachers are role Models to Society - TTD JEo

Tirupati, 5 September 2018: By giving the nation the future citizens of the country by imparting value based education, teachers are often described and revered as role models for a healthy society, said TTD JEO Sri P Bhaskar.

Addressing the special programme organised on the occasion of Teachers' Day in Mahati Auditorium at Tirupati on Wednesday morning, the JEO said, the life of Dr Sarvepalle Radhakrishna, aptly suits for a role model teacher. Born in an ordinary family, he became the Vice President of India  by the way of his hard wirk. That is why even today his birth anniversary is observed as Teachers Day, he added.

The JEO also said, TTD has now comments Skill Development Programme for its students studying in the all TTD-run educational institutions. Apart from the academic education, this programme is aimed at training them on soft skills, personality development etc, he maintain es.

International Society for Sri Krishna Consciousness(ISKCON), Hyderabad representative Sri Gaurang Darshan Prabhu gave the instance of Bhakta Dhruva who did penance for six months at the age of five and appeased the Almighty with His unclenched devotion. The students also should reach their goals with similar dedication", he added.

Earlier the JEO felicitated 15 retired teachers on this occasion.

The teachers, students of various TTD educational institutions took part in this fete.
