Bhajans Resound at Mada Streets






Tirumala, 13 October 2018: The TTD has rolled out a feast of bhajans on the sacred Mada Streets of Tirumala as part of Srivari Navaratri Brahmotsavam.

Bhajans keep the devotees sitting at all the galleries enthralled at the five colorfully decorated Mandapams named after Annamaiah, Purandaradasa, Tarigonda Vengamamba, Pedda Tirumalaiah, and Thagayya. The HDPP, Annamayya project artists enthrall the devotees sitting in galleries both in morning and evening.

The Sri Vengamamba bhajan mandala from Visakhapatnam led by Smt S Satyadevi rendered service today at the south Mada Street Mandapam.

Similarly at the Purandaradasa Mandapam near Sri Varaha Swamy temple, the 16 artists from munjala yuva bhajan mandali led by Smt Ratna from Bangalore presented Purandaradasa sankeertans.

In the same manner at the Sri Tarigonda Vengamamba Mandapam the 18 artists from the Startasena bhajan mandala of Udupi in Karnataka presented Keertans of Sri Purandara dasa.

At the Sri Thyagaraja Mandapam the HDPP organised Bhakti sangeet by artists of sri Shanmukga Rao team from Srikakulam. The KT GovindaRao team from Vizianagaram presented sankeertans at the PeddaThirumalayya mandpam.
