Karnataka Drum Beats at Mada Streets

Tirumala, 13 October 2018: The Karnataka drumbeaters would dance and jump to the drumbeats of Tamate (local flat drum) at the Navaratri Brahmotsavams at the Mada street of Tirumala.

Siddharaju, heading the Uma Maheswari Kala Sangham of Mandaya in Karnataka state says that he has brought a 15 member team which will present a variety of dances, bhajan and dance forms named as Puja - Punita and Veerabhadra.

Siddharaju said his troupe has performed in international folk dance forums and won laurels for the state and the art form.
