Tirumala, 5 October 2018: Moving a step ahead, TTD will now deliver it's 2019 Diaries and Calendars booked in online to overseas through postal department, said, TTD EO Anil Kumar Singhal.

After Dial your EO program, talking to media persons at Annamaiah Bhavan in Tirumala on Friday he said, last year we commenced online sales of our diaries and calendars which received huge reception from public. We delivered them through postal department within the country. Now we are set for overseas delivery also, he added.

Later he said, some changes will be brought in online sale of arjitha seva tickets. "Keeping in view the misuse of these seva tickets by some miscreants we want to bring some amendments which will come in to force by next month. From unlimited registrations from a single mobile number and e-mail ID we now want to restrict it to only two registrations. Some pilgrims suggested to re-introduce photo upload also to avoid manipulation, which will be looked into", he maintained.

The EO also said, online quota of booking of arjitha seva tickets is also introduced in Padmavathi temple at Tiruchanoor and the devotees can now register three months prior till two days before based on the availability of arjitha seva tickets in online.

He said that, towards the development of local temples under the umbrella of TTD, one senior officer has been allotted to each sub temple. This adoption will help in the better development. We have now sanctioned Rs.4.70cr towards the development of Appalayagunta temple", he mentioned.

The EO said, at present, the average turnout of pilgrims at Kurukshetra temple is 750 per day and week ends around 1700. As Gita utsavams are famous here during December which lasts for over 11 days, we are anticipating nearly 2-3lakh pilgrims during that period, he added.
