Vigilance Darbar Observed

Tirupati, 31 October 2018: On the occasion of Jatiya Samaikhyata Divas, Vigilance Darbar was observed in Mahati Auditorium at Tirupati on Wednesday under the aegis of TTD Vigilance and Security wing.

TTD EO Anil Kumar Singhal who graced the occasion as Chief Guest, in his address complimented the TTD Vigilance and Security wing for their impeccable services. "The twin brahmotsavams in Tirumala were a huge success because of your commendable services, day and night. You have offered incident free services to tens of thousands of pilgrims during the mega religious events in co-ordination with the police. I also thank your families for their support without which this is not possible", he added. The EO also lauded the services of vigilance officials in trapping the middlemen who are involved in the black marketing of laddus, on-line arjitha seva tickets and VIP break darshan scandals. 

In his address, Tirupati JEO P Bhaskar described the Vigilance and Security sleuths of TTD as representatives of divine Commander in Chief, Vishwaksena. Like we perform Vishwaksena Aradhana before every religious event seeking success, you all contributed a major part in the success of annual and Navarathri brahmotsvams in Tirumala.

Earlier, some vigilance and security sleuths brought to the notice of EO and JEO some of the issues which they have been facing including meager wages, no promotions in spite of decades of service, non sanctioning of TA, DA and petrol allowances, ID cards, Health Cards etc.

Reacting to their issues, EO said, a sub-committee was appointed by the Trust board during the last meeting itself to discuss on these issues. "TTD Chairman and myself are also members in this committee and we will resolve the issues which are possible in phased manner in the upcoming board meets", he assured.

Later, mementos have been presented to the vigilance and security wing officers, sleuths who excelled in their services.
