Dasa Padas Are the Essences of Vedas

Tirupati, 17 Nov. 18: The umpteen number of Sankeertans penned by Sri Purandharadasa are the essence of Vedas, advocated Sri Subudendra Theertha Swamy.

Metla pooja was observed at Alipiri Padala Mandapam as a part of Traimasika Metlotsavam during the wee hours of Saturday.

Mantralayam Pontiff HH Sri Subudendra Theertha in his address during the occasion, said, all the Dasa Padas including those penned by Sri Purandhara Dasa, Kananka Dasa, Narayana Dasa and many others have taken a mission to preach the essence of Dharmic Values embedded in Vedas in an easy language so that they will reach every common man. So the Dasa Padagalu are famous with every house hold as Nama Sankeertana is the best way to reach the Lotus feet of Almighty.

Special Officer Dr P R Ananda Theerthacharyulu, over 3000 Dasaparas hailing from AP, TS, TN and Karnataka were also present.
