Shailendra Kumar Joshi, Chief Secretary,
Government of Telangana has formally opened the Mind Space Junction flyover
constructed with a cost of Rs. 48.06 crores to ease traffic congestion. The 830
meter long flyover will facilitate traffic flow from Inorbit mall end towards
IKEA the four lane flyover was a much needed facility at the Mind Space as it
is one of the high traffic zone in the IT Corridor.
While interacting with the media the Chief
Secretary complimented the officials of the GHMC for completing the structure
well in advance and stated that Hyderabad is a developing to a Global City and
major traffic problems were being addressed by constructing flyovers, under
passes and various other works as a part of Strategic Road Development Plan
(SRDP).
Sri R. Sreedhar, Chief Engineer, GHMC said
that the flyover project was to be completed in two years but the structure has
been completed in 16 months to ease traffic flow at Mind Space Junction.
Sri Arvind Kumar, Principal Secretary,
MA&UD, Sri M. Dana Kishore, Commissioner,
GHMC and senior officials of various
Govt., Heads of the Departments have participated in the programme.
