Glittering cultural events held at Raj Bhavan

Hyderabad, November 17:     Mesmerising and heartwarming dance performances by children, fashion parade by tiny tots, comedy skits by staff members of Raj Bhavan marked an evening full of fun and frolic at the annual cultural programmes held at Raj Bhavan on Saturday. The programme was started with the lighting of the lamp by Governor Sri E.S.L. Narasimhan and Lady Governor Smt. Vimala Narasimhan. The song and dance performance 'Jaya Janardhana' in which Lady Governor Smt. Vimala Narasimhan herself participated, stood out as a special attraction in a series of programmes like playback songs, mimicry show, medley of song and dance by children, comedy skits by officers and staff members of Raj Bhavan.

Later, Governor and Lady Governor presented Mementos to participants of cultural programmes as well as winners of various sports events.

Speaking on the occasion, the Governor said this is a special occasion for all officers and staff members of Raj Bhavan and their family members to come together and celebrate the event every year and be part of the Raj Bhavan as a single family.
