Koil Alwar Tirumanjanam Performed

Tiruchanoor, 27 Nov. 18: As the annual Karthika Brahmotsavams of Sri Padmavathi Ammavaru are set to commence from December 4, Klik Laat Tirumanjanam was performed in Tiruchanoor temple on Tuesday.

The traditional temple cleansing fete commenced at 6am and lasted for about three hours. The entire temple walls, roofs, pillars were smeared with a separate sacred mixture called Parimalam.

Later the devotees are allowed for darshanam from 9.30am onwards.

Temple DyEO Smt Jhansi Rani and other temple staffs were also present.
