The second batch of police officers has taken charge at Sabarimala on Friday. Wayanad SP Karuppuswamy is the Sannidhanam special officer. 1500 officials are included in the second batch. Vigilance SP K E Baiju is in charge of the law and order while KK Aji, Kerala Police Academy director is the special officer at Marakkoottam. R Prathapan Nair is the assistant special officer at Sannidhanam.
Special Officers Karuppu Swami and Baiju have given instructions to the newly inducted officers here. Police are playing an integral role in keeping the smooth flow of affairs at Sabarimala.
