Tirupati, 12 Nov. 18: TTD Executive Officer Anil Kumar Singhal has directed engineering officials to transform quelines from Elephants gates near Vaikuntam Q complex to temple mahadhwaram with devotee friendly amenities.
Addressing senior officials at TTD admin buildings on Monday, the EO said all facilities should be made in the quelines to avoid pushing and crowd crush and to give comfortable darshan to devotees.
He said sign boards also be put up everywhere to inform devotees about availability of additional laddus. Steps be taken up for completion of the New boondi complex for making laddus. The sign boards should also be put up all places to facilitate devotees in movement at Tirumala.
He said the core team of slotted token of Sarva darshan should meet frequently and make necessary corrections in the process. He also asked officials to scrutinise the workload of regular and piece rate barbers. The Engineering department also should set up infrastructure at places open to protest devotees from lightning attacks.
The EO directed officials to speed up works on RO plant, internal roads and toilets at the Sri Venkateswara Temple in Kanyakumari.
He also instructed the CVSO to install head count machines at local temples in Tirupati. He also wanted IT department to make hassle free online booking of diaries and calendars. The officials should Take note of suggestions and complaints landing at the Call centre.
He said the special tasks at Vontimitta Sri Ramalaya should be completed ahead if forthcoming Brahmotsavams.
