Adhyayanotsavams Commences in Tirumala Temple

Tirumala, 07 Dec. 2018: The annual Adhyayanotsavams commenced in Sri Tirumala temple on Friday and will conclude on December 31.

This 25 day festival will commence eleven days prior to Vaikuntha Ekadasi festival. Rendition of Nalayira Divya Prabandha Pasura Parayanam penned by 12 Alwars during these days is the importance associated with this festival.

The first eleven days are known as Pagalpattu, the next ten days Rapattu while on 22nd day Kanninun Siruttambu, 23rd day Ramanuja Nutrandadi, 24th day Sri Varahaswamy Sattumora will be observed and on the last day Tanniramudu festival will be observed.
