Cultural Bonanza at Padmavati Ammavari Temple Bramotsavams











Tiruchanoor, 5 December 2018: It is a exemplary display of bhakti sangeet, devotional discourses and other dharmic activities on display attracting large crowds of devotees at Tiruchanoor and Tirupati as part ongoing Karthika Brahmotsavam of Sri Padmavati Ammavari temple.

The programs were got up by the HDPP, Annamcahrya project, Dasa sahitya project, SV Music and Dance College at the Asthana mandapam in Tiruchanoor, Mahati, Ramachandra pushkari, Annamacharya kalamandiram and Shilparamam in Tirupati.

The 26-member dance troupe from Hyderabad of the Manjira academy of Kuchipudi led by J Renuka Prasad presented spectacular dance performance in front of the morning Vahana seva. The drum beating by the 19 artistes of Sri Mallikarjuna Kala sangham of Polampalli, Karimnagar led by Naresh got good response from devotes.

The 28 artistes from Sri Balaganapati Kolata sangham of West Godavari led by Smt Telagamshetty Anuradha cast in roles of Gods and Goddesses

Another 25-member team from Chennai -Siva Natyalaya dance school led by Smt LN Venkatesawan presented bhartanatyam. Students from Tiruchanoor NRI School presented kolata and cast in Gods and Goddesses roles. The Uma Maheswari Bhajan mandali of Tirupati with 15 artistes presented kolatas.30 blind girls and boys of Navjeevan blood relief centre of Tiruchanoor presented bhajans and 15 blind girls gave kolata demos. Teams presented Bhajans and Kolatas from Gajulamandya and Chandragiri.

The display ofchakka bhajana, kolatas, garagata, teams cast as gods and goddesses and Venkanna umbrellas enthralled the devotees on mada streets and also at the auditoriums and devotional platforms in Tiruchanoor and Tirupati.
