Padi Sare Reaches Tiruchanoor

Tirumala, 12 Dec. 18: The Padi Sare is a gift to Goddess Padmavathi from Lord Venkateswara from Tirumala and reaches Tiruchanoor on Wednesday.

The procession of Sare took place in Tirumala between 4:30am to 5:30am and later a team of officers accompanied by proceed er to Tiruchanoor.

Later the sare consisting of Turmeric, vermilion, pattu sari, Prasadams etc. which was carried on a temple elephant was collected at Pasupu Mandapam and from there carried to Panchami Theertha Mandapam.
