Develpment Works at Vontimitta Should Complete Before Brahmotsavam's - TTD Eo















Vontimitta, 2 January 2019: The ongoing developmental works at Sri Kodanda Rama Swamy temple at Vontimitta should complete before the annual brahmotsavams, said, TTD Executive Officer Sri Anil Kumar Singhal.

Along with Tirupati JEO Sri P Bhaskar, CVSO Sri Gopinath Jetti and CE Sri Chandrasekhar Reddy, the EO inspected the ongoing works at Vontimitta temple in Kadapa district on Wednesday. Later speaking to media persons at temple premises the EO said, under the instructions of Honourable CM of AP, Rs.100crores have been granted towards the development of this ancient temple. So far Rs.17.60crores works have been completed. Another Rs.9crores worth works are under progress.

The EO said, every year Rs.3crores are being spent on the day of Sri Sita Rama Kalyanam. Keeping in view the past experience, a permanent structure will be constructed at Kalyana Vedika with parking and toilet facilities. Action plan has been prepared to construct queue lines, office building, mada streets extension etc. for the sake of devotees. 

He said, MoU was signed with ASI to take up repair works for Potu, flooring etc. in temple without disturbing the original structure. Wiring and lighting works in the temple will also be completed soon. To speed up the development works, monthly review meetings will be organised, EO added. We are also giving publicity to enhance visiting pilgrims to this temple and the Time slotted Sarva Darshan system has enabled the visitors to the temple, he observed.

Kadapa SP Sri Abhishek Mohanty, EE Sri Jaganmohan Reddy, DFO Sri Phanikumar Naidu, DSP Sri Raghavendra, ASI Official Sri Sriram, AEO Sri Ramaraju were also present.
