Arrangements Completed for Rahda Saptami in Tirumala

Tirumala, 9 Feb. 19: All the arrangements were almost completed in Tirumala for the big event of Radhasapthami on February 12.

Of 175 galleries spread across the four mada streets 55 counters were set up to distribute food to pilgrims sitting in galleries with the help of srivari sevakulu. Water line is also set up to cater the drinking water needs of pilgrims in galleries.  The galleries are provided with temporary shelter as a shield from inclement weather conditions.

Meanwhile white cooler paint, rangolis were also drawn all along four mada streets.

The Hindu Dharma Prachara Parishad has invited Kolatam and bhajana trams from different places to perform before vahanams on that day. 

A senior officer has been allotted duty to man and supervise each mada street to monitor the pilgrim needs.
