Development Works on a Fast Pace at Vontimitta

Vontimitta, 14 February 2019: All the developmental works at Sri Kaodanda Rama Swamy temple in Vontimitta at Kadapa district will be completed with a specific time frame, said TTD JEO for Tirupati Sri B Lakshmikantham.

Speaking to media persons after inspecting the ongoing development works in and around the temple on Thursday noon, the JEO said, as per the instructions of Honourable CM of AP Sri N Chandra Babu Naidu, Rs.100crores has been sanctioned towards the development of this ancient temple of Sri Rama in AP on the lines of Bhadrachalam temple in Telengana. "Our top priority is providing amenities and hassle free darshanam to devotees'', he asserted. 

Adding further, JEO said, "The works are categorised into two with those to be completed for annual brahmotsavams and others as per some time line till December. Among these works some need to be done by Archaeological Survey of India, some by irrigation department, some by Tourism and rest by TTD". 

"The erection of temporary pandals, plastering, flooring, construction of toilets, vahana mandapam, setting up of sub-station etc.will be completed before brahmotsavams. Apart from these works some issues like land settlement disputes in four mada streets are still pending which will be resolved soon by taking up with district officials", he maintained.

JEO said that in the next two months we will go ahead with comprehensive development strategy in solving the issues. "We will have weekly review meetings on progress of works'', he added.

Later he reviewed with various heads of TTD on various activities like anna prasadam, civil works, greenery etc.with concerned HoDs in Haritha Rest House.

Smt Goutami, DyEO and Incharge senior officer for Vontimitta temple, SEs Sri Ramesh Reddy, Sri Venkateswarulu, DFO Sri Phani kumar Naidu, Estate Officer Sri Vijaya saradhi, VGO Sri Ashok Kumar Goud, CMO Dr Nageswara Rao, Additional Health Officer Dr Sunil and other officers were also present.
