Tirupati, 26 Feb. 19: On the second day morning as a part of the ongoing annual brahmotsavams in Kapileswara Swamy temple, Lord Shiva took a celestial ride on the Surya Prabha Vahanam.
The bright sunny day on Tuesday witnessed the grandeur of Lord taking the ride along the mada streets on the finely decked Surya Prabha carrier.
Lord Shiva wears both Surya and Chandra as his head gears and His eyes are often described as ''Surya Sashanka Vahni Nayan'' in Hindu mythology.
Temple DyEO Sri Subramanyam, VGO Sri Ashok Kumar Goud, AEO Sri Nagaraj, Suptd Sri Rajkumar, Archakas and devotees took part.
