Pooja Performed to Twin Buildings of Srivari Seva














Tirumala, 22 Feb. 19: Puja was performed to the newly constructed twin buildings of Srivari Seva in Tirumala on Friday morning.

TTD Trust Board Chairman Sri P Sudhakar Yadav took part in this puja along with board member Sri Peddireddi.

Later speaking to media he said, Srivari Seva began with a noble purpose to facilitate services to countless devotees who come from all over India and overseas to Tirupati and Tirumala for glorious darshan of Lord Venkateswara in the year 2000.

Commenced with just 195 members today there are around 1500 sevaku lu on normal days and 3000-3500 during  festivals like Brahmotsavams, Vaikunta Ekadasi etc.

''So far 10 Lakhs man hours were served in Srivari seva in the last 19 years. 

Srivari Sevaks include NRIs and mostly  devotees from Maharashtra, West Bengal, Jharkhand, Odisha,Chattisgarh, New Delhi  besides southern states of AP, Telangana, Karnataka, Kerala and Puducherry'', he added.

Complimenting the engineering wing of TTD he said, two separate and state of art buildings have been got up on the Papa Vinashanam road behind the Kalyana Vedika for facilitating women and men Srivari Sevakulu respectively during their stay.

"Each complex has 16 halls with Ground plus two floors in two buildings, with a capacity to accommodate nearly 2000 persons each with 224 bath rooms, 278 toilets, Dining hall to feed 700 Sevaks at a tie ( buffet table). Apart from this recreation hall, satsang halls were also constructed to provide feel good ambience to the volunteers during their stay in Tirumala", he maintained.

The Chairman said, the Honourable CM of AP Sri N Chandrababu Naidu has also complimented the srivari sevakulu during the Bhookarshana programme held at Amaravathi during last month, he recalled.

CE Sri Chandrasekhar Reddy, SE 2 Sri Ramachandra Reddy, EEs Sri Subramanyam, Sri Mallikarjuna Prasad, Sri Srihari, DE Smt Saraswathi, PRO Dr T Ravi were and others were also present.
