Silyethakanyasam Performed at Amaravathi















Amaravathi, 10 February 2019: The first stone laying ceremony, Pradhama Silyesthakanyasam was performed at Amaravathi, the capital city of Andhra Pradesh on Sunday in the auspicious Meena Nagnam between 9am and 10am.

It may recalled that on January 31, the Bhookarshanam and Ankurarpanam, fetes for the Sri Venkateswara Divyakshetram which is going to come up at Rs.150crores were performed over the hands of Honourable CM of AP Sri N Chandra Babu Naidu.

From February 1 till 6, various religious events like chaturveda parayanam, vasanthotsavam, snapana tirumanjanam were performed. While from February 7 to 10, Astottara Satakundatmaka Srinivasa Yagam was performed seeking the prosperity of humanity in general and state in particular.

The temple along with Dhyana mandiram, Sri Dhamam, Pushkarani etc.will be constructed in two years.

Chief Vigilance and Security Officer Sri Gopinath Jetti, SE Sri A Ramulu, special grade DyEO Sri Rajendrudu and other officers took part in the program. The religious staff including Chief Priest of Tirumala temple Sri Venugopala Dixitulu, Agama advisors Sri Sundaravadanacharyulu, Sri Mohanarangacharyulu and others were also present.
