Tirumala, 27 Feb. 19: TTD Executive Officer Sri Anil Kumar Singhal on Wednesday offered traditional silk vastrams to Sri Mallikarjuna Swamy of Srisailam on the occasion of the ongoing brahmotsavams.
TTD EO was given traditional welcome at the Srisailam temple by EO Sri Ramachandra Murthy. Later TTD EO presented the traditional silks on behalf of TTD.
After the darshan of Sri Bhramaramba Mallikarujuna, the EO of TTD was presented Thirtham Prasadam and also laminated photo of Lord Mallikarjuna by Sri Sailam temple EO.
Speaking on the occasion the TTD EO said that since 1996 special silks were being offered to Srisailam temple ahead of Maha Shivarathi. He also hailed the spiritual links between Tirumala and Srisailam.
Srivari Temple OSD Sri Pala Seshadri was also present.
