Robo Shankar croons a song for Bose Venkat’s directorial

If fulfilling a long run dream happens to be the integral part of every aspirer, looking back into where they started and offering a tribute to it is a marvelous thing. Actor Bose Venkat, who makes his directorial debut with a love story with newbies in lead roles, has done a similar thing, which is all about glorifying auto rickshaw drivers. There is a particular song in the film that speaks about the daily trials and challenges of auto drivers, which is crooned by Robo Shankar.

Sharing the news, actor-turned-filmmaker Bose Venkat says, “This is something I personally felt that I had to give back something to the place where I started. My career started as an auto driver and I wanted to make a tribute to it. When the conceptualization of song was done, we felt that it must be crooned by someone, who isn’t aware about ragas and Shruthi. Of course, we wanted the song to sound exactly the way how a lay person would sing. Apparently, we started looking out for a familiar voice to croon the track and Robo Shankar befittingly sounded perfect. Although, I had some ideas and assumptions on how the song might turn up as a final product, music director Hari Sai added up his peppy elements into the track.”

The film has an ensemble star-cast including Sreeram Karthik, Aadukalam Murugadoss, Kajaraj, debutant Gayathri (Daughter of ‘Yaar’ Kannan), Valeena Princes, Vishnu Ramasamy, Super Good Subramani and few others in important roles.  Iniyan J Harris is handling cinematography with Hari Sai composing music and Rizaal Jainy working on editing.  The others in the technical crew comprises of Siva Sankar (Art), Viveka (Lyrics), Dinesh Subburayan (Stunts), Josep Jackson (Designs),  R. Balakumar (Production Controller) . The film is produced by Hasheer for Rooby Films.
