Tirupati, 26 Mar. 19: TTD Joint Executive Officer for Tirupati Sri B Lakshmikantham on Tuesday inspected the employees quarters Vinayak Nagar and Ramnagar quarters.
He directed officials to take up repair to roads, drainages, CC camera security, drinking water, garbage cleaning and canteen facilities for employees in their quarters.
Speaking to media he said engineering and health officials were directed to take up repairs on roads in colonies to put up mesh against mosquitoes in Quarters, organise gates for security and explore feasibility of CC cameras. He also asked officials to put up RO units to provide clean drinking water to employees.
He said quarter’s wise leakages and repairs to quarters, roads and drainages and underground drains that needed immediate action and attention were identified and concerned department heads informed.
He said TTD was in consultation with Commissioner of Tirupati Municipal Corporation to improve the sanitation, greenery and hygiene in the quarters and to make them pollution free.
The JEO and team of officials also visited the annaprasadam units in the quarters and inspected about quality of food etc. He asked officials to explore in coordination with tourism department on providing variety of sweets and snacks at subsidised rates in the canteens for the welfare of TTD employees.
SE 1 Sri Ramesh Reddy, EE Sri Jaganmohan Reddy, Additional Health Officer Dr Sunil and others were also presented.
