TTD JEo Inspects Sri Venkateswara Music College

Tirupati, 27 Mar. 19: TTD Joint Executive Officer for Tirupati Sri B Lakshmi Kantham inspected the SV college of music and dance on Wednesday.

Speaking later the JEO said the agenda for the SV Recording Project was to completely digitise the 30,000 sankeertans of saint Poet devotee Sri Tallapaka Annamacharya in time for the forthcoming celebrations of his 516th anniversary from March 31-April 4.

He said the plans were afoot for modernisation of open-air theatre at the college premises of the Music college besides renovation of the building with fresh painting and repairs to leakages, new toilets etc.

The TTD has also considered taking up separate rooms for the boys, prayer hall and a dining hall.

During the visit to TTD school in Tatitopu the JEO said the TTD also plans to resolve the requirement of more faculty and other staff besides toilets, more rooms etc. He said the TTD also was mulling to start English medium in the school and directed the concerned to prepare feasibility reports including cost analysis.
