All Set For Summer Rush - TTD JEo

Tirumala, 23 Apr. 19: Tirumala JEO Sri KS Sreenivasa Raju on Tuesday said that TTD has geared up fully to meet the pilgrim rush in the hot summer season.

After the review meeting with HoDs of various departments in Tirumala, talking to media persons the JEO said, special arrangements have been made to cope up with the summer rush.

Coolant paints, heat proof arrangements have been made in all the places where the pilgrim surge is heavy. Annaprasadam, water distribution arrangements have also been made. Apart from this, in view of anticipated heavy rush in summer, we have restricted VIP Break darshan only to protocol VIPs alone on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays till July 15 as in last year. PAC 3 which is previously used to accommodate women sevakulu will now be allotted to pilgrims from May 1 onwards. The new Vakulamata building which is coming up in Tirumala will also be completed in near future",he maintained.

Later speaking on Balalayam in Varaha Swamy temple, the JEO said, Kalakarshanam will be observed on Tuesday night between 8pm and 10pm. Any repair works, scaffolding works etc. will be done in next two days time before Astabandhanam on April 26, he added. On April 27 Maha Samprokshanam will be performed between 11.07am and 1.16pm, the JEO added.

CE Sri Chandra Sekhar Reddy, VGO Sri Manohar, DyEO Temple Sri Harindranath and other HoDs were also present.
