Art From May On Wards in Sri Padmavathi Ammavari Temple






Tirupati, 9 Apr. 19: In a unique initiative, the Augmented Reality Technology (ART) will come into force from May on wards in the famous shrine of Sri Padmavathi Ammavaru at Tiruchanoor wherein the sculptures speak out their significance attracting devotees, said TTD Tirupati JEO Sri B Lakshmikantham.

During a review meeting with various HoDs in the conference hall of TTD administrative building in Tirupati on Tuesday, the JEO said, the old Annaprasada Bhavanam in Tiruchanoor will be converted as a waiting hall with a capacity to hold over 600 pilgrims. The TTD roads in the temple city extending up to 26km. will be spruced up with a devotional touch apart from developing a Bougainvillea corridor all along the dividers, the JEO added.

The JEO said, the importance of festivals that are being observed in all major temples of TTD will be documented and telecasted in SVBC for better information of the pilgrims. Similarly they will also be updated in TTD website.

Later the JEO lauded the combined efforts of Tirupati Urban Police and TTD Vigilance in catching hold of one of the accused behind the crown theft case that took place in Sri Govinda Raja Swamy temple a couple of months ago. He said, RFID will be placed in all the temples to avoid such incidents in future.

The JEO also reviewed on the deployment of staffs to Vontimitta brahmotsavams.

CE Sri Chandrasekhar Reddy, SEs Sri Ramesh Reddy, Sri Ramulu, Sri Venkateswarulu, DFO Sri Phanikumar Naidu were also present.
