Tirumala, 14 Apr. 19: Lord Sri Rama took a celestial ride on Hanumantha Vahanam on Sunday evening in Tirumala.
In connection with Sri Rama Navami festival, the process took place between 7 pm and 9 pm.
Tirumala JEO Sri KS Sreenivasa Raju, Temple DyEO Sri Haridranath, Peishkar Sri Ramesh, Parpathyedar Sri Ramachandra, Devotees, TTD officials, took part in this procession.
ASTANAM HELD IN SRIVARI TEMPLE
Sri Rama Navami Asthanam was conducted in Srivari temple at Tirumala on Sunday evening.
The temple court took place at Garudalwar Sanmidhi in Bangaru Vakili. The processional deities of Sri Ramachandramurthy, Sita Devi, Lakshmana Swamy and Anjaneya Swamy were made to sit opposite Garudalwar and Asthanam was performed between 10 pm and 11 pm. Sri Rama Jananam chapter from Sri Madramayanam was rendered by Vedic scholars on this occasion Later prasadams were distributed.
