Tirupati, 10 Apr. 19: The famous fete Rathotsavam-the mammoth wooden chariot procession took place in streets of Tirupati surrounding Sri Kodandarama Swamy temple on Wednesday morning.
Lord Sri Rama, flanked by Sita Devi and Lakshmana Swamy seated on a special platform in wooden chariot and proceeded along streets.
The devotees who converged in large numbers chanted Rama Nama with religious ecstasy. Temple DyEO Sri Sridhar and others were also present.
Chief Engineer Sri Chandrasekhar Reddy, Addl CVSO Sri Sivakumar Reddy,Temple DyEO Sri EC Sreedhar, TTD Engineers, devotees and others were also present.
