Vontimitta, 13 April 2019: The series of vahana sevas at Vontimitta Sri Kodanda Rama Brahmotsavams commenced with Pedda Sesha Vahanam on Saturday evening.
In most of the Sri Vaishnavaite temples, the vahana seva during brahmotsavams usually begins with Pedda Sesha Vahana seva.
The serpent king Adisesha is usually described as having thousand hoods and serves His beloved Master in different ways as umbrella, bed, ornament etc. to showcase his loyalty towards Lord.
On Sunday evening lord Sri Rama took pleasure ride on the seven hooded Pedda Sesha Vahanam to bless His devotees.
Spl Officer Sri Munirathnam Reddy, DyEO Sri Natesh babu, AEO Sri Rama Raju, OSD Of SV Recording Project Sri Maniratnam Reddy DyEO Sri Devendra Babu and other senior officials, temple priests participated in the event.
