Over 5.1 Laksh Piligrims Had Hasslel Free Darshan in the last six days in Tirumala - TTD JEO










Tirumala, 17 May 19: The total number of pilgrims who had darshan in the last six days has crossed over 5.1lakhs in Tirumala, said Tirumala In-charge JEO Sri B Lakshmikantham.

After carrying out inspections on Friday evening in Sarva Darshanam Complex, VQC Kitchen, Senior Citizen line, Stone Arch at ATC, greenery in dividers, the JEO instructed the concerned the officials to enhance the quality of service. 

Later speaking to media persons, the JEO said, with the team work of all departments, hassle free, speedy darshan without much waiting in spite of swarming crowd has been ensured in the last six days in Tirumala. "Even today, tomorrow and on Sunday also we are anticipating heavy influx of pilgrims since the Tenth class results are out. All our officers and their staffs are working day and night to meet the needs of the pilgrim rush", he added.

Adding further, the JEO said, TTD is on a mission to enhance the greenery in Tirumala and Tirupati. "We are now focusing on how to improve bio-wall to provide a balanced environment in the hill town of Tirumala as well in the temple city of Tirupati. Today I had inspected all the dividers, meridians where the forest department is coming up with a planned plantation programme", he maintianed. 

SE II Sri Ramachandra Reddy, Temple DyEO Sri Harindranath, VSO Sri Manohar, Health Officer Dr Sermista and other officers were also present.
