Tirupati,06 May, 2019: TTD Executive Officer Sri Anil Kumar Singhal directed the security officials to initiate special drive to end pushing and jostling during release of compartments in Vaikuntam Queue Complex.
Addressing a review meeting of senior officials at the TTD administrative building on Monday the EO urged the CVSO to explore feasibility of a third line from elephant gate to the scanning centre to avoid hassles especially for women and children in the queue lines from the compartments.He also wanted vigilance and security tightened near all TTD temples, information centres and also tackle crowd congestion at exit gate of Srivari temple up to laddu counters.
He also asked the officials to complete the ongoing underground cable works along the mada streets on a war footing. He also advised SVBC CEO to telecast animated mythological episodes for devotees waiting in the compartments.
The EO also instructed officials to open the Gandhi road gates of Sri Govindarajaswamy temple to benefit more devotees to visit the temple and also develop TTD S V museum nearby. He also discussed on the development works at various temples including Tiruchanoor temple, Sri Govindarajaswamy temple, SVBC studios. Later he instructed the concerned to remove vehicles of unauthorised persons parked at TTD administrative building.
The EO said the flow of devotees to Kanyakumari temple is increasing day by day as it has recorded 16,500 on May 5. Now there comes the need to introduce new devotee friendly measures, he opinioned.
